A few years ago, children used to play a different kind of games than today.
One of the most entertaining and interesting game was
the little jeremiads,tzami
(Mosque)
There are lots of different ways to play this game, but the most usual and common way is that.
Place: This game takes place mainly in parks or in a yard.
Rules of the game: First of all, children have to make a circle and in the circle they have to set up a column of jeremiads or stones. Then they have to make two groups or teams and their aim is to damage the column. When one of the two teams manages to do this, the opponents try to catch them and just touch them with the ball and get them out of the game. While the opponents run behind the other team have to try to set up again the column of the jeremiads.
If they achieve to do this, they have to say loud and clear the word “tzami” and they have won.
This game can be played lots of times and maybe can be arranged a specific time that the game will be over.
